this came up for my “posi animals” search. all i can find is dogs lately? whatever don’t care. last night i slept for 16 hours it was great. i also ate pizza with lyndsey that was cool. it’s been hard to remember that good things happen when you are constantly reminded that you live in a world where people feel entitled to take advantage of others in very purposeful ways, and even harder when you realize sometimes these things are unintentional- that awful things can stem from a different cycle of abuse or from the way patriarchy tries to dictate our lives. unintentional shittiness doesn’t make it better. what does make it better for me though, is surrounding myself by supportive people. it’s remembering that even with all the horrible things in the world, and horrible things that have happened to me personally, i can also think of tons of wonderful things that happen in my life everyday. it doesn’t always fix when i feel bad but it always helps. i know not everyone can say that, which means there’s still so much work to be done, but at least i can, and that’s fucking great.

spotted. i like this dog’s style. i left two weeks ago. i’m going to spend a lot of money to drive to chicago tomorrow for just one night to see some super great people/cool show. oops? i’m leaving for boogdish tour next week for weeks then it’s west chester rock city for a while! then it’s south carolina for a second. everywhere else. bloomington, you’re a tough town to be in right now even though you’re the best.
